About

Hotel Kaffeemuehle

Hotel Kaffeemuehle sits on Kaiserstrasse, in Vienna's 7th district, a short walk from the city's cultural heart. The Vienna State Opera is about 25 minutes away on foot, and a tram stop right outside the door makes getting around easy. The 3-star hotel keeps things simple: clean, comfortable rooms, a lift, and free Wi-Fi in every room.

On-site parking is a genuine rarity in Vienna, and here it's affordable, with an EV charging station for electric vehicles. Pets are welcome, and the staff are known for being friendly and accommodating. Breakfast offers a choice of options, and the rooms on higher floors are quiet and recently modernised.

  • Friendly and helpful staff — Multiple reviews highlight the staff's friendliness and willingness to accommodate requests, such as providing a kettle or arranging late checkout.

Worth weighing

3 to weigh
  • Rooms and cleanliness rated low — The rating for rooms and cleanliness is 6 out of 10, suggesting inconsistent standards. Some rooms have been modernised, but others may feel dated.
  • Check-in window limits flexibility — Check-in is only from 15:00 to 22:00, which may be inconvenient for late arrivals.
  • Vending machines instead of full dining — There's no restaurant on site; meals are limited to vending machines and special diet menus, which may not suit everyone.
